I am a first time customer. What if my shirts will not fit me properly or meet my expectations?
This is where the FREE TRIAL SHIRT comes in. Upon purchasing 4 shirts, we will contact you via email asking you to choose which of the 4 shirts you want to duplicate with a fabric of your choice from our House fabrics selection. That shirt will be created and sent to you first for approval. Should it not be a perfect fit, we will make the requested modifications to make sure you are pleased with it, and once you are satisfied, we will process the remaining 4 shirts.
Do I have to register?
Yes. The good news is, the registration process only takes moments (full name, username, email, and password). The upside of this is that once you take and insert your measurements, they are saved, so that you don’t need to insert them every time. Also, your account will keep a log of the shirts that you have ordered. All in all, it simplifies your future experiences.
Can I customize my shirt?
Certainly, it’s part of the process! Once you reach the “stylings” section, you can choose the unique aspects that you want your shirt to have. Our system allows you to select whatever “style” you want for the following categories: collars, back pleats, sleeves, pockets, buttons, front styles, special stitches, and collar stays.
For further customization (including the inclusion of your initials on the shirt) when you reach the “payment” page, you can click on “Customize this shirt”, and add initials or any other special requests you may have.
Can I make the inside of the collar a different color? If I want the cuffs and collar to be a different fabric, is that possible? Can I choose the color of the buttons and thread?
Our tailors usually choose the standard colors that match your shirt. If you wish to alter, add, or be creative with anything, just include it in the “special requests” section under “customize this shirt” (found on the payment page). Usually, most changes will not require an extra charge, but should something call for an additional fee, we will let you know about it before we process the order.
I want to create a shirt, but I have no time to go through all the steps one by one. Is there a quicker alternative?
Here, the “QuickShirt” option comes in handy. It automatically creates a shirt with a standard fabric, fitting, and stylings, and takes you to the payment page. You can edit whatever you wish to change by clicking on the pen image, and keep the remaining default options.
Can I duplicate a shirt?
Yes. In more ways than one.
- If you have an already existing shirt you are very comfortable in, you can send it to us by mail, and we will duplicate it.
- If you wish to duplicate a shirt that you created on the site, click on “duplicate this shirt”, and you will get yet another shirt with exactly the same options you chose. You can also edit whichever categories you want by clicking the pen tool.
I created my shirt, the payment gateway approved my payment, but due to an error, I cannot see my orders. What do I do?
For your security, once you reach the payment, you are redirected to a secure gateway where you will pay. Once that is done, you are redirected back to the OrientalTailors.com website. If your payment is approved but the browser happens to crash (or something of the like happens), your orders might not be registered on your OrientalTailors.com account. In this case, please contact us on info-at-orientaltailors.com and we will sort out the issue. Do not attempt to pay again; your order and approved payment will have been saved in our records - we'll just put it through.
Will any of my information be shared with third parties?

What is the deal with getting an appointment with the tailor?
If you are a resident of Lebanon, you can call us on +961 3 13 77 21, and schedule an appointment to have one of our tailors visit you at the place and time of your choice. He will take your measurements, and show you large selections of our available high quality fabrics.
Residents of countries in Lebanon’s vicinity can also get appointments. Our tailors make regular trips to Syria, Jordan, and other nearby areas, so if you would like to schedule an appointment, contact us, and we will let you know when they will be there. However, if there is a significant group of people who would like to order several shirts in a specific country, we can arrange a trip there especially for them.
Our tailors will also be taking a tour soon, and that will be announced in due time. The schedule of the tour will also be posted.
What fabrics do you offer? What is the house fabric?
The fabrics we offer online are different lines of high quality Thomas Mason, D.J. Anderson, and Alumo fabrics. Our house fabric is also Thomas Mason. We have a large selection of other fabrics as well, so if you have a certain request, please do not hesitate to ask us about it.
